Bohol Island Delights

Bohol island is located right in the heart of Central Visayas (Region VII), Philippines. It is the 10th largest island in the country. The Island is oval-shaped mainland surrounded with 73 smaller islands, having a gently rolling terrain. Its main attraction is the Chocolate Hills is considered one of Philippine’s natural wonders. The hills composed of around 1,268 perfectly cone-shaped made of limestone leftover from coral reefs during the ice age when the island was submerged. They turn brown during the summer. They are covered in green grass that turns brown during the dry season. The visit is link with a rustic cruise of the Loboc River.

Day 1 Manila-Bohol
Land transfer to Manila Airport for flight to Bohol. Morning arrival in Tagbilaran. Upon arrival welcome greeting by local representatives. Transfer to hotel for accommodation. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2 Chocolate Hills Tour
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning departure to Carmen and the Chocolate Hills.On the way to Carmen visit Dauis Church, Fish port, stop at the monument of Sikatuna (the Treaty of Friendship site). Local Industry (bolo forgers, nipa palm leaves weavers, pottery). In Carmen follow steps on top of a hill to view the chocolate hills. Drive back to Loay River passing by the Tarsier garden. Lunch on a floating restaurant by Loboc town followed by the river cruise. Visit Clarin’s Ancestral house. Transfer back to hotel.

Day 3 Pamilacan Island and Dolphin Watch Tour
Breakfast at the resort. Early morning board motorized boat to Pamilacan. Local guide will bring guests to the feeding ground of the dolphins. Watch the dolphins follow and play around the boats. Snorkel at the Pamilacan Island Marine sanctuary, then lunch on the island. Return to the resort late in the afternoon.

Day 3 Bohol-Manila
Breakfast. Morning free at leisure until transfer to the airport for the flight back to Manila
