MDTI-TA-2021-111
Date: 29 October 2021
By November 8, the United States of America will adopt a new travel policy for incoming travelers based on the Biden administration’s proclamation last October 25, 2021. By that date, non-US citizens, non-immigrants traveling to the United States will be required to be fully vaccinated and present their proof of vaccination. This policy comes with very few exceptions. Accepted vaccines are FDA approved vaccines as well as vaccines with emergency use listing from the World Health Organization.
Fully vaccinated travelers to the US will still be required to present a negative COVID-19 result taken no more than 3 days prior to flight to the U.S. Unvaccinated travelers whether U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents or those in the list of exceptions, need to show a negative COVID-19 test result taken no more than 1 day prior to flight departure.
