Effective immediately Hong Kong residents who have stayed in Group A countries (Brazil, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Nepal, Pakistan, the Philippines, Russia, South Africa and the United Kingdom) will be allowed to enter Hong Kong provided they have been fully vaccinated and hold recognized vaccination record.
Labor Department of Hong Kong announced that foreign domestic helpers who are in the Philippines that are fully vaccinated in Hong Kong before they left can enter the city.
Boarding Requirements:
a. Recognized vaccination record;
b. Negative result proof of a Polymerase chain reaction (PCR)-based nucleic acid test for COVID-19 conducted within 72 hours before the scheduled time of departure of the aircraft.
c. Confirmation in English or Chinese of room reservation in a designated quarantine hotel in Hong Kong for not less than 21 nights starting on the day of the arrival in Hong Kong.
Quarantine Requirements:
a. Compulsory quarantine for 21 days in a designated quarantine hotel
b. Undergo 4 tests during compulsory quarantine
c. Self-monitoring in the subsequent 7 days
d. Compulsory testing on the 26th day of arrival at Hong Kong at any Community Testing Centre (CTC)
Foreign Nationals who have been in Group A countries for more than two hours on the day of boarding or during the 21 days before that day are not be allowed to board for Hong Kong.
