MANDATORY SUBMISSION OF RT-PCR NEGATIVE TEST CERTIFICATE FOR ALL ARRIVING PASSENGERS TO SOUTH KOREA EFFECTIVE JULY 15, 2021

Please be advised that all Korean nationals and foreigners arriving in South Korea from July 15, 2021 will be required to present a printed PCR-negative certificate upon check-in. The certificate must be issued within 72 hours (3 days) prior to the departure, and must indicate that the holder of the certificate tested negative for COVID-19 on a Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) Test.
Validity of RT-PCR:
PCR negative confirmation must be issued within 72 hours from 00:00 on the departure date. Example: If you are boarding an aircraft that departs on July 31, 2021 at 11:50 PM, you can use the RT-PCR negative certificate issued from July 28, 2021 at 12:00 AM to July 31, 2021 at 11:50 PM.
– All passengers transferring/transiting from the airport are exempted from submitting PCR Negative certification *Negative COVID-19 test should still be prepared if required by country of destination
– Children under 6 years of age, persons subject to exemption from quarantine for humanitarian reasons and purpose of overseas business trips for official duties are also exempted to submit RT-PCR Negative Test.
– PCR-negative certificates must be issued only by the accredited medical institutions designated by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the Philippines.
– The RT-PCR Saliva Test conducted by the Philippine Red Cross is also recognized as a valid RT-PCR negative certificate.
