Turkish Airlines reminds passengers about the decisions taken by the Government of Malta, please be guided on below information:
– You must also observe quarantine, in isolation from all other persons for 14 full days from arrival in Malta. You must not come into contact with other household members if you must share a household. Other household members also need to observe quarantine. The quarantine period needs to be observed in full regardless of any negative swab results. This is as per Legal Notice 63 of 2020, the Period of Quarantine (Amendment) Order, 2020, further amended by LN’s 79, 252 and 279 of 2020.
– Swab test results and the address where quarantine is to be observed must be sent by email to quarantine.covid19@gov.mt
– A completed “Public Health Travel Declaration Form” and “Passenger Locator Form” found at https://www.maltairport.com/declarationforms/ must be presented upon arrival.
– If a passenger is not a Maltese national or a Maltese residence card holder, one should request an exemption for travel to Malta if in The Superintendent of Public Health’s opinion the travel of certain persons is deemed to be necessary or essential. Requests of exceptional circumstance which warrant consideration by the Superintendent of Public Health are to be forwarded to covid19.vetting@gov.mt with ‘CONSIDER’ as the first word in the subject title. This email address is to be used solely for this reason. Approval from Health Ministry should be presented upon check-in.
