Manila and Cebu

Manila and Cebu are the Philippines’ main cities and economic hubs. Manila, the capital of the country, is not only a business and government offices center but also home to historical sites. There’s the Walled City in Fort Santiago, where you can retrace the footsteps of the country’s National Hero, Dr. Jose Rizal, before he was shot. Cebu, on the other hand, is rich in history, being the oldest city of the Philippines. Here, you will see ruins and landmarks of famous historical events such as the Mactan Shrine, Magellan’s Cross, and MacArthur Park.

Day 1: Manila
Welcome to Manila! Upon your arrival, you will be welcomed by a Marsman representative at the International Airport’s arrival area. You will then be transferred to your hotel with an assistance of an English Speaking Guide. Enjoy your buffet lunch at the hotel, then proceed to Intramuros for a tour of the Walled City of Old Manila. Within Intramuros, you will find Fort Santiago, where many were imprisoned during the Spanish colonization, including the Philippines’ National Hero Dr. Jose Rizal. After the tour, you will be served dinner at the hotel while being serenaded by a guitarist.

Day 2: Pagsanjan Town
Start your day with a hefty buffet breakfast at the hotel. Then board an air-conditioned coach, which will take you to Pagsanjan for a full-day tour. There, you will experience the Pagsanjan River Rapids on a dugout canoe or banca. Indulge in a buffet lunch at the Pagsanjan Riverview. Return to Manila for a Cultural Dinner Show in a traditional Filipino-Spanish Restaurant which comes with entertainment provided by the restaurant’s singing cooks and waiters.

Day 3: Manila-Cebu
On the third day of the tour, have a sumptuous buffet breakfast at the hotel, then fly to the Queen City of the South. Transfer to the domestic airport for your departure for Cebu. Upon your arrival at Cebu Airport, you will be transferred to Maribago Bluewater Resort where you will be welcomed. This will be followed by a mouthwatering lunch at the resort. You will have the rest of the afternoon free, which you can spend at leisure, either swimming or sunbathing by the beach. After a relaxing time on the beach, have your early dinner at Lantaw Native Restaurant, an outdoor floating restaurant. Return to Maribago Bluwater Resort where you will be staying for two nights.

Day 4: Island Hopping Adventure
Begin your day with a buffet breakfast at the resort. Then go on a full-day excursion to the neighboring islet of Mactan Island where you may go swimming and snorkeling. Visit the Islands of San Vicente Marine Sanctuary, Hilutungan and Nalusuan. San Vicente Marine Sanctuary offers a great opportunities to experience nature, especially marine life, up-close and personal with fishes and harmony with mangroves and sea, among others, Hilutungan and Nalusuan Islands are famous dive spots, also well known for snorkeling and fish feeding. Enjoy an appetizing Barbecue lunch on the island. Later at night, experience a poolside dinner at the resort.

Day 5: The Garden Island Bohol
Jumpstart your day with a hearty buffet breakfast at the resort. Then transfer to Cebu port to take a fast ferryboat to Bohol for a tour of the famous Chocolate Hills and Tagbilaran. Have lunch on a floating restaurant by the Loboc River while listening to the angelic voices of the internationally famous Loboc Children’s Choir. Cruise the idyllic Loboc River on local barges. Return to Cebu Resort via a small paddleboat for a gala seafood dinner at the Alegrado Island. During dinner, there will be a cultural presentation as a memento of your last night in Cebu.

Day 6: Cebu-Manila
This is the last day of your Manila and Cebu tour. Start your day with an energizing breakfast at the resort to keep you going for the day’s activities. Go on a tour of Cebu City, then have a taste of Cebu’s local flavors by having lunch at the resort or in a local restaurant in the city. You have the rest of the day free to explore and discover more of Cebu’s history and culture until your transfer to Macan International Airport for the connecting flight out of Manila.
