GUIDELINES FOR NON-ESSENTIAL OUTBOUND TRAVEL OF FILIPINOS

In a resolution issued by the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF), the suspension of non-essential travel for Filipinos as well as all travel restrictions for outbound travel of Filipinos has been lifted.
The following conditions are applicable for non-essential outbound travel of Filipinos:
a. Submission of confirmed round-trip tickets for those traveling on tourist visas;
b. Adequate travel health insurance to cover rebooking and accommodation expenses if stranded, and hospitalization in case of infection, in such amount as may be determined by the Department of Tourism;
c. Allowed entry by the destination country in accordance with their travel, health, and quarantine restrictions;
d. Execution of a “Declaration” acknowledging the risks involved in traveling, including risk of delay in their return trip, to be provided for in the check-in counters by the airlines; and
e. Upon return, shall follow Guidelines of Returning Overseas Filipinos of the National Task Force (NTF).
The lifting of the travel restrictions will take effect 15 days after the notice is published in the government’s Official Gazette.
