Emirates welcomes the latest air travel protocols that will facilitate international travel for UAE citizens, residents and tourists, and open Dubai to business and leisure visitors from 7 July, while putting in place careful measures to ensure the health and safety of travellers and communities.
The Dubai authorities have announced these protocols for travel into and out of Dubai Airports.
Important Notes for Residents returning to Dubai:
1. Residents of other Emirates with an ICA approval obtained before 21 June 2020, can travel into Dubai. Ensure CKIN remarks are updated on the booking.
2. No approval required for residents travelling out of Dubai, irrespective of the destination.
3. Residents who travel from Dubai will need an approval to return. Approval can only be obtained once the customer exits UAE.
4. Advise customer to carry a print out of the approval for check-in
5. Inform customer that they need to fill inhealth declaration form and the quarantine undertaking form. Both forms need to be printed, completed and handed over to Dubai Health Authority staff at arrival.
Customers or the travel agent can also request for travel approval through GDFRA website.

Travel restrictions: Customers are reminded that travel restrictions remain in place, and travellers will only be accepted on flights if they comply with the eligibility and entry criteria requirements of their destination countries.
